In 2009, co-founded the Solar Thermal Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance in accordance with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and China Development Bank's joint guidance document "Opinions on Promoting the Establishment of Industrial Technology Innovation Strategic Alliances." Serves as Vice Chair of the International Energy Agency SolarPACES program and Board Member of the International Solar Energy Society (ISES), Director-General of the Chinese Renewable Energy Society's Solar Thermal Power Generation Committee, and Deputy Director-General of the National Technical Committee for Solar Energy Standardization.
